Johnson will replace Geoff Greer, who is set to retire. Johnson has over 31 years business and corporate banking experience, both domestic and international, since starting his career with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).
With ANZ Bank, he held a number of senior leadership positions including managing director, business banking.
Johnson joined NAB in 2009 as general manager, NAB Corporate, where he was responsible for servicing corporate Australia clients with turnover of $50m-$250m in both the public and private sector.
NAB Business Banking group executive Joseph Healy said Daryl is a experienced banker, with a deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of business and corporate banking.
"I am confident that Daryl’s extensive business banking background and strong leadership skills will ensure we continue to build on NAB’s number one position in the small and medium business segment," Healy said.
