Jabre replaces Habib Achkar, currently the regional manager for the MENA region, who will return to Europe in a new role as a vice chairman in Morgan Stanley’s senior relationship management group.
Jabre is Morgan Stanley’s senior M&A banker. He has advised on a large number of transactions for the firm’s clients in North America, Europe and the Middle East and North Africa.
In addition to his role as part of Morgan Stanley’s M&A department, Jabre has also been an integral part of the leadership team of the MENA business since 2006.
Morgan Stanley co-president of Institutional Securities and Head of EMEA and Asia Pacific Colm Kelleher said with his depth of experience, long tenure at the firm and client relationships, Kamal will bring strong leadership to their businesses in the region as they seek to continue to strengthen their successful franchise in the Middle East and North Africa.
