Cronin will report to Randall Chafetz, head of corporate and investment banking for the Americas.

In his new role, Cronin will be responsible for both the relationship management and portfolio management of the bank’s US customer base.

Cronin will focus on adding incremental revenue streams to BTMU’s existing corporate banking model, including the expansion of the customer portfolio.

Most recently, Cronin was managing director and head of US corporate banking at Banco Santander. Prior to that, he had a 20-year career at Bank of America and its predecessor firms (FleetBoston, BancBoston) where his previous responsibilities included leading US corporate banking coverage and treasury management sales for corporate clients in the Americas.

Chafetz said that Kevin brings to his role deep experience in corporate banking and finance, risk and portfolio management, and client development, combined with industry knowledge and leadership skills. His background ensures that he will contribute both broad strategic thinking and attention to detail as we continue to grow our business.
