According to Mitek, the solution allows mobile-payment companies to help consumers enroll their checking accounts as funding sources for mobile payments with a ‘Point, Shoot, Enrolled!’ solution which requires only that consumers capture photos of blank checks with their smart phone cameras.
Mitek’s application captures all the information needed for enrolling their accounts.
Mitek Mobile ACH Enrollment will join Mitek’s Mobile Deposit, Mobile Photo Bill Pay and Mobile Receipt applications that all capitalize on the company’s ability to securely and accurately detect, capture, analyze, enhance and process digital information gathered via the smart phone camera.
Mitek president and CEO James DeBello said that by eliminating keystrokes, the new Mobile ACH Enrollment solution reduces consumers’ anxieties about enrolling their checking accounts with mobile payments providers.
