Results of a survey into global transaction banking trends reveals that half of all participating bank representatives responded that mobile channel development for their corporate customers was a priority for the next 12 months.

Approximately two-thirds said that they see it as a priority on which to focus in the next three years.

Misys global product manager Tim Tyler said the company’s mobile version for transaction banking will enable banks to enhance their service offering through this channel, in which users can view and manage transactions whenever and wherever they require.

The first technology, Misys Mobile for Trade Services that is available for license, will facilitate the banks to upgrade their services by offering them better visibility in all their trade finance transactions.

Currently, the application is available through any mobile phone, tablet or smartphone, including BlackBerry, iPhone or Andriod.

Misys serves 1,800 customers in 120 nations offering banking, treasury, trading and risk solutions available on the market.
