MF Global, an intermediary offering customized solutions in global cash, derivatives and related markets, has named Robert Lyons as North American chief operating officer.
Reportedly, Mr. Lyons will be based in New York and manage the company’s day-to-day operations in North America, including the region’s operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures.
Prior to joining MF Global, Mr. Lyons was chief operating officer at Watermill Trading, from 1987 until 2008, he served in a number of capacities within the global equities division at Bear, Stearns & Co, including chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
