MF Global, an intermediary offering customized solutions in global cash, derivatives and related markets, has expanded its fixed income business and introduced a new institutional sales group. It has hired more than 20 professionals to its fixed income group in New York and London.

Some of the new members of MF Global’s fixed income team in New York include: MacDonald Budd has joined MF Global as head of cash trading; Brett Benza as head of interest rate sales; Michael Wieczorek as the head of finance and short-term trading and James McHugh as the head of credit trading and sales.

Additionally, MF Global has also hired to its fixed income team in London, they include: Andreas Gianopolis has joined as the head of US treasury trading; Chris Sayers as head of European government bond trading and David Mudie as the European head of fixed income prime brokerage.

MF Global has also extended the securities finance team with the addition of Jane Robins who has joined as head of repo sales. Victoria Foster joined to manage the European stock loan matched book and the client equity financing business. James-Scott Wong and Christiane Schuster have joined the fixed income team in London to head the high yield and distressed loans desk.

It also has built a new institutional sales team. Primarily based in Chicago and New York, the team is dedicated to increasing the share of existing clients’ business and building the firm’s institutional investor client base.

The institutional sales group include: Eric Eiers, Darrell McConnell, Mark Psaltis and Kyle Unterseher have joined MF Global as senior vice presidents.
