Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Randall Lynch as managing director within Americas industrials investment banking. Mr Lynch will be based in New York and report to John Pratt, managing director and head of global diversified industries corporate and investment banking.
Mr Lynch joins Bank of America Merrill Lynch from American International Group, where he spent the last year leading the restructuring and divestiture process of several of the firm’s business units. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley as a managing director providing strategic advisory services.
Mr Pratt said: “Mr Lynch’s strong track record in M&A and expertise in industrials create the right mix of strengths to effectively serve the diverse and complex needs of our clients. With the skills that he brings, as well as the caliber of talent within our existing team, clients from around the globe will continue to turn to us as a leader in providing world-class investment banking solutions and capabilities.”
