DocuSign said by using its service SSFCU members can quickly complete and electronically sign new account forms from a variety of Internet-connected devices.
SSFCU added DocuSign’s optional ID Check authentication feature, provided through RSA, a provider of identity verification solution.
DocuSign ID Check is a knowledge-based authentication method that validates the identity of a signer.
Results of DocuSign ID Check authentication are recorded securely as part of the signing record.
The credit union anticipates the DocuSign service will be fully implemented for member use in the first quarter of 2011.
SSFCU vice president for online services Aaron Leek said DocuSign provided the best solution for SSFCU to achieve greater efficiencies while providing a positive member experience.
"We thoroughly vetted DocuSign and concluded that it led in best practices. DocuSign offered the best method for our members to quickly, easily and securely sign online. DocuSign has helped us provide additional services to our members while reducing costs enterprise-wide," Leek said.
