The locations, where the proposed branches will be launched include London Colney, Hertfordshire; Braehead, Renfrewshire; Oxford; Merry Hill, Dudley; Milton Keynes; Cheshire Oaks, Cheshire; Camberley, Surrey; Norwich; White City, London; Exeter; Shoreham, Kent; and Lisburn, Belfast.
Out of 16 locations, the bank has launched 13 branches to date, which offer banking services seven days a week.
The bank had previously announced its intentions to launch a network of 50 bank branches by the end of 2013, mostly at its retail store location.
The retailer unveiled its first bank branch in July 2012m with an aim to offer convenient banking as well as shopping experience to its customers.
Wholly owned by HSBC, M&S Bank is being managed on a 50/50 profit share with Marks & Spencer, while it is registered with the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), which compensates people if their bank fails.
