Avaloq said the bank deployed the software in view of the long-term growth strategy of the group as well as to strengthen the home market and to expand activities in Switzerland and in new markets and to react quickly to new challenges in the international context. As part of the project the bank’s iBanking was also enhanced with new functions.
Liechtensteinische Landesbank group executive management member Kurt Mader said that with introduction as planned and the joint operation of the Avaloq Banking System at three banks, the group achieved another milestone for the future of group.
Avaloq added that the the operational processes were reviewed over the course of the project. Building on this review, certain group-wide services will in future be consolidated into competence centers, in order to manage the growing transaction volume with the existing personnel resources.
