Cordys, a provider of software for business process innovation, and ICT consulting firm Innovatec, has been selected by KMD, the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) products provider in Denmark, to build a Business Operations Platform (BOP) between the company’s front-end portals and back-end systems, to enable it to offer BPO products to its customer base.
The company claimed that the Cordys Business Operations Platform allows KMD to run its BPO Service Centre efficiently, resulting in increased customer satisfaction. A ‘higher degree’ of business process automation will streamline KMD’s operations and allow its service centre to become more scalable.
KMD will reportedly use the Cordys Business Operations Platform at every stage when taking over a customer’s administrative procedures, including Cordys BPMS for workflow, Rich UI tools, Cordys Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) for important notifications, and the Cordys SOA Grid for Integration with SAP and other existing software.
KMD, with more than 3,000 employees and annual revenues of more than $570m, aims to remain a top three IT service provider in Denmark, providing IT, BPO and consultancy services to the public and private sectors.
Kim Koch, President of KMD, responsible for customer services said: “KMD has defined its BPO services as being crucial in the realisation of its growth ambitions in Denmark. We have selected Cordys as the core platform to orchestrate all business processes in the customer services centers of KMD. Innovatec will implement the Cordys platform to deliver a workplace solution for employees in the customer services centers to improve both customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness significantly.”
