Kemba serves more than 60,000 members in the Greater Cincinnati area. The credit union has more than $468m in assets, issues 37,000 debit cards and operates 10 ATMs.
STAR is an electronic funds transfer (EFT) network, with more than 2 million retail and ATM locations, and a First Data company.
Kemba Credit Union president and CEO Steve Behler said that the credit union is expanding the relationship to include debit processing from First Data, to further take advantage of processing integration and payments expertise from industry leaders.
