The bank implemented SunGard’s Ambit Core Banking, Ambit Client Information Management and Ambit Mobile Banking solutions.

According to the SunGard, its solutions suite helped the Swiss bank to form a client-centric private banking institution that offers trusted and independent advice.

The IT services provider said that using Ambit, Gutenberg Bank’s wealth managers can have a single, integrated view of their clients’ investment position, helping them to enhance their advisory and financial planning models.

The Bank Gutenberg will be using its Ambit Core Banking to provide the technical infrastructure behind its new private banking and wealth management services.

SunGard added that the Ambit Client Information Management solution separates client confidential data from portfolio positions within the bank and the Ambit Mobile Banking helps the bank in providing clients with immediate global access to their portfolio via a secure iPad application.

Bank Gutenberg CEO Michael Widmer said that SunGard provided private banking technology infrastructure that delivers operational efficiency and helps the bank offer competitive products and services.
