US-based investment banking company JP Morgan has unveiled Payments Partner Network, its new marketplace powered by Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Integrated with the JP Morgan Payments platform, the new Payments Partner Network features third-party partners.

The company’s payments business combines the merchant services, treasury, card, and trade finance capabilities to help clients send and receive payments anytime from anywhere.

The new marketplace, initially launched in beta, will bring together all the JP Morgan Payments’ integrations in a digital platform.

It helps enables the clients to easily search, view, and use the company’s ecosystem of third-party integrations for end-to-end payment and treasury needs, said JP Morgan.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud SVP and GM Michael Affronti said: “Forty-five percent of insurance or banking companies plan to prioritize building their own digital marketplace in the next two years.

“They are easy to scale and adjust for customer preferences, and when powered by the right technology, companies can quickly gain powerful insights through new first-party data and bring together siloed parts of the business.

“We’re excited to work alongside J.P. Morgan to build an incredible network for merchants while providing a seamless experience for its payments partners.”

In addition to the new marketplace, JP Morgan is also introducing two new connectors for the Salesforce AppExchange, both featured on Payments Partner Network.

Salesforce AppExchange is the JP Morgan Payments Connecter for B2B Commerce and Order Management and the JP Morgan Payments B2C Commerce Cartridge.

Organisations using Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions are now allowed to connect directly to the JP Morgan gateway through a JP Morgan connector.

The JP Morgan Payments Partner Network, takes learnings from Salesforce AppExchange, to enable self-service discovery, help businesses scale, and facilitate easy implementation.

JP Morgan corporate development and partnerships global head Jason Tiede said: “J.P. Morgan has one of the largest payments ecosystems in the world, with hundreds of live third-party integrations spanning virtually every industry and use case.

“The Partner Network will make it easier for our clients to efficiently discover and assess the best product partners to suit their business needs.”
