JHS Capital Advisors, a subsidiary of Florida-based JHS Capital Holdings, has launched a new brokerage and wealth management firm specializing in providing personalized client services for investors nationwide.
The firm said that it aims to deliver a comprehensive client offering, while providing a transition opportunity for professional financial advisors at wire houses, banks and independent practices.
JHS Capital Advisors’ wealth management group will be led by Mary Kennemur, a former first vice president and regional managing director of Merrill Lynch. Ms Kennemur will oversee all operations of the wealth management business including client service and recruiting.
In addition, JHS Capital Advisors’ retail and institutional investment group will be led by Paul Richardson, a former CEO and co-founder of the independent financial services firm Pointe Capital.
Mr Richardson has over 30 years experience in the banking and brokerage industry. He led brokers in the banking, retail and institutional channels, prior to co-founding Pointe Capital in 2004.
John Sykes, chairman of JHS Capital Holdings, said: “Our vision for JHS Capital Advisors is to offer a distinctly client-centric approach to financial services, combining unbiased advice with the sophisticated solutions that today’s investors are seeking. We are committed to building a unique advisory firm, with a fresh business model, that provides both wealth management and independent brokerage capabilities.”
Paul Richardson, president of retail and institutional investment group at JHS Capital Holdings, said: “I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to partner with Mr Sykes and Ms Kennemur in this compelling new enterprise. The firm’s vision is to continue to build an independent channel directed toward the realization of enhanced organizational and investor value by partnering with wealth management capabilities.”
