Jefferies, a global securities and investment banking group, has expanded its global fund placement group with the hiring of three senior professionals. Luke Belcastro and Margaret (Peggy) Marshall join as managing directors in New York, and Joseph Nagae joins as a senior vice president in London.

Luke Belcastro joins Jefferies from Mallory Capital Group, an investment banking boutique specializing in raising capital for private equity funds, where he was a partner. Previously, he was a director in the equity capital markets group of Credit Suisse.

Peggy Marshall joins from Mallory Capital, where she was a principal. Prior to that she was a vice president at alternative capital division – private fund group at Credit Suisse; as well as the private equity group at Merrill Lynch. Joseph Nagae joins from Citigroup, where he held a various of positions and was most recently a director in that firm’s private placement group.
