Jefferies, a global securities and investment banking group, has appointed Benjamin Lorello as global head of investment banking and capital markets. In this new role, Mr Lorello will be responsible for the management of the firm’s global investment banking and capital markets operations.

Jefferies has said that Mr Lorello has over 32 years of investment banking experience on Wall Street. Prior to joining Jefferies as chairman of investment banking in July of this year, he was employed by UBS for over 10 years, where he served as vice chairman and global head of healthcare investment banking.
