Chadwick will help lead the firm’s sales effort with major institutional accounts in the US. He will be based in the firm’s Chicago office.
In a joint statement, Christopher Bury and Dan Markaity, co-heads of global rates at Jefferies, said Chadwick’s experience, knowledge and strong relationships will significantly enhance its rates capabilities across the US.
Chadwick brings to Jefferies more than 13 years of experience and will join the firm from Goldman Sachs, where he was a managing director in rates sales. Previously, he spent nine years at Lehman Brothers, where he was senior vice president in rates sales.
Jefferies’ global rates team is comprised of a global team of professionals in the US, London, Paris, Milan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo with distribution as well as primary and secondary trading capabilities.
The firm’s fixed income business has nearly 525 professionals globally focused on the sales and trading of US and European government and agency securities, investment grade corporate bonds, high yield bonds, municipal bonds, repo finance, mortgage- and asset-backed securities, whole loans, leveraged loans, distressed securities and emerging markets debt.
