SITEBA (Sistemi Telematici Bancari), an Italy-based provider of payment-services, has chosen Verizon Business, a provider of communications and IT solutions, to help ensure that its electronic payment services comply with international payment card industry data-security standards.
SITEBA offers various of electronic payment and management services for banks, financial institutions and gasoline stations throughout Italy. Verizon Business’ professional security services team is providing a range of consultancy, audit, management and implementation services to help SITEBA’s services achieve and maintain Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) certification.
