Datacard Group is providing comprehensive turnkey hardware and software personalization solutions, as well as personalization scripts suitable for use with these products, which have been designed to fulfill the specific requirements of the US market.

Inside Secure secure payment division executive vice president Bernard Vian said that these new EMV products from CPI have been developed using secure microcontroller module.

"We have worked closely with CPI, MasterCard and Datacard and incorporated the expertise and experience of these payment card industry leaders to ensure that these newproducts will meet U.S. issuers’ expectations and make their migration as easy as possible," Vian added.

Providing better flexibility in migrating to EMV, one product has been optimized for online-only EMV card programs, while the other endorses both online and offline payment transactions, claims the technology firm.

MasterCard said the firm believes that issuers, merchants and consumers will benefit from the enhanced functionality and security features of this technology whenever and wherever they shop, following the deployment of EMV in more than 130 nations.
