Commenting on the partnership, ICBA Bancard chairman and Grand Rapids State Bank president and CEO Noah Wilcox said Vantiv will undoubtedly help community bankers to meet and exceed their consumer and small business customers’ expectations while strengthening total banking relationship.

Technology and account management tools as well as merchant services program provided by Vantiv will help the community bank to concentrate on portfolio growth, increase service levels, offer assistance in managing payments and capture new revenue opportunities, among others.

Vantiv financial institution services president Royal Cole said the agreement with ICBA will help in extending reach to additional community bankers and provide service that will strengthen relationships with its consumers and merchants.

Established to protect interests of the community banking industry, ICBA promotes banking interests in Washington, resources to enhance education and marketability, and profitability options to help them compete better.
