HSBC Bank USA, has opened a new branch in Artesia, Los Angeles County, California. The new branch brings the total number of HSBC banking branches to 18, across the Los Angeles-Orange County area.
The bank has said that initially the branch operates with a staff of 10 locally employed banking professionals. The Artesia branch provides a range of financial services to both businesses and individuals including Premier, HSBC’s global personal banking service. This is expected to offer worldwide support, wealth management, insurance, mortgages, a credit card, access to a relationship manager and ‘Global View,’ an online service which allows customers to access and manage all of their international Premier accounts in one place.
Dominic O’Hagan, EVP, regional president, west coast, HSBC Bank USA, said: “Artesia, with its strong cross-border connections, was the obvious place in which to expand our branch network. As ‘The world’s local bank,’ we fully understand the importance of serving the Artesia community locally while helping them to make the most of opportunities globally.”
Additionally, the bank has appointed Cathy Li, as a branch manager, who is a career banker having business experience in and around Los Angeles. Ms. Li and team are able to serve customers in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as English.
