With the new branch, HSBC has expanded its network to 53 service outlets across the country, including 16 branches and 37 sub-branches. The new branch currently offers a range of banking services in foreign currency to both companies and individuals, including business finance, deposits and loans, trade services, cash management, as well as the HSBC premier service, HSBC’s global wealth management proposition.

Richard Yorke, president and CEO of HSBC Bank (China), said: At the heart of the region, Dongguan enjoys a strategic location where businesses from Hong Kong and Taiwan congregate, and a large number of Chinese SMEs are based, creating strong demand for both commercial banking and personal financial services. Our new branch in Dongguan enables us to combine HSB’s resources in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Mainland to serve our customers throughout the Greater China region.
