Effective from 30 March 2012, the sub-advisor will guide the HSBC MultiAlpha US Equity Pooled Fund, and will co-manage this fund together with Cohen & Steers Capital Management, Los Angeles Capital Management and Equity Research, WestEnd Advisors and Winslow Capital Management.
The asset management firm said that its MultiAlpha Funds leverage the expertise of multiple investment managers with complementary styles catering clients with an additional level of diversification and the opportunity over time to enhance their potential risk adjusted returns.
HSBC MultiAlpha Funds sub-advisors also comprise of AllianceBernstein, Martin Currie, Mawer Investment Management, Picton Mahoney Asset Management, Scheer, Rowlett & Associates Investment Management, Westfield Capital Management, Loomis, Sayles & Company; and HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada).
