Wisconsin-based HSA Clearing that offers Health saving accounts, has entered into a strategic alliance with Sarah Meyerrose Strategic Solutions (SMSS), a newly launched network in developing and delivering innovative business solutions.

HSA reports that it’s Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are covering more than 8 million Americans by HSA-qualified health insurance plans. HSAs provide a tax-advantaged savings vehicle for current and future out-of-pocket medical expenses because they do not have a use or lose feature common with other health care accounts. HSAs also provide banks and credit unions with source of new deposits, new accounts, and cross-marketing opportunities. HSA Clearing’s expertise provides critical components of successful bank and credit union HSA programs.

Sarah Meyerrose, President of SMSS, said: “The principals at HSA Clearing and I share the vision that all regional and community banks and credit unions should have the capability of offering these accounts and related services to their customers as well as their own employees. SMSS will work with clients to develop sales and marketing plans and ensure seamless delivery and technical execution for this important product line.”

Tim Morales, President of HSA Clearing Corp, said: “We believe this strategic alliance will leverage both our capabilities to support any size bank to better serve their customers. If a financial institution is not offering an HSA program, they’re just losing deposits every month, as more and more clients are switching over to an HSA-compatible insurance program.”
