Home Federal Bank (HFB) said that it will convert to Harland Financial Solutions’ core banking system, Phoenix Extended Financial Enterprise(PEFE) in November 2010 and upgrade its online banking system to Cavion in December 2009. PEFE is a business software platform for banks and credit unions that combines Harland’s technology solutions with computer applications.

PEFE offers the bank capabilities in the areas of risk management, business intelligence and marketing, lending and compliance, self service, payments, financial accounting and core account servicing and transaction processing. Cavion will provide consumer and commercial customers with the latest tools to manage their banking online and offer solutions for cash management.

Along with upgrading to PEFE, HFB has also entered into multiple partnerships to expand its technological capabilities. In order to completely update the bank’s computer, data and voice architecture, HFB will utilise Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) as its IT provider and Allegiance as its communications provider.

HFB has also selected Gremillion & Pou Integrated Marketing and 305 Spin to design, develop and launch an improved website for customers including an upgraded online banking portal and the capability of online account opening, as well as online mortgage origination.
