HNW president & CEO Stacey Haefele said as the firm has watched the market evolve, it has become very clear that banks and financial services institutions continually struggle to connect with the mass affluent.

"Our goal is to build a Retail Banking practice that fuels conversation between private banking, brokerage and investment brands and the elusive mass affluent segment," Haefele said.

The firm has appointed Leslie Paladin, as senior vice president and managing director to ensure the smooth functioning of the retail banking practice.

Having more than 30 of marketing experience, Paladin joined HNW in 2011 and before that she served as a senior vice president, Citibank Mass Affluent for Citigroup and was national marketing director for KPMG.

According to the firm, retail banking clients will have access to the full range of HNW solutions such as strategic marketing planning, market segmentation & analysis, consumer research & planning, product packaging and launch among others.
