Heartland Payment Systems has extended its contract with transmodus, a technology provider in remote deposit and check management automation services. The contract extension runs through 2015. Heartland said that its Express Funds is powered by transmodus and encompasses the features to serve businesses of all sizes.

Express Funds also supports banks looking to increase their adoption of remote deposit capture particularly in the small and mid-sized business market as well as software partners who want to deliver remote deposit capture through their own user interfaces.
