Adam will join HPS after ten years at Sandell Asset Management, where he most recently was a senior managing director and portfolio manager for its credit business.
Adam will share responsibility for managing the HPS public credit business with HPS Managing Director Purnima Puri.
Highbridge started its principal strategies business three years ago in order to provide its clients with a broader set of investment opportunities, strengthening the firm’s position as a global diversified alternative asset manager.
Highbridge Principal Strategies CEO Scott Kapnick said Adam’s experience in managing complex hedged credit portfolios will be incredibly valuable as the company take advantage of attractive opportunities in the credit markets, continue building out this side of the business and provide clients with a broad range of investment solutions.
