Boyer will also oversee syndicated lending function and interest rate swap products, which offers corporate clients with access to competitive fixed rate loan options.

According to the US bank, Boyer will also be responsible to expedite the development of the downtown Los Angeles headquarters’ commercial banking unit.

Grandpoint Capital president Dan Yates said Jeff is a very talented banker, who will be a key player in charting Grandpoint’s future course.

"Jeff will play a pivotal role in positioning Grandpoint as the bank of choice for corporations that want to work with bankers who understand their complex needs and can deliver solutions and strategies to help them grow revenues and improve earnings," Yates added.

"There has been a clear void in the market for a commercial bank that has the capital, lending capacity, business expertise, sophisticated cash management products, and a strategic commitment to serve the needs of larger businesses in the region."

Before accepting the current role, Boyer worked with Citizen’s Business Bank’s San Fernando Valley Commercial Banking Group.
