Gemini, an American crypto currency exchange has partnered with Samsung Blockchain, allowing the blockchain wallet users to connect to Gemini app to buy, sell and trade crypto currencies.
Claimed to be the first US crypto exchange and custodian to partner Samsung Blockchain, Gemini will power Samsung Blockchain Wallet, by bringing crypto to the fingertips of Samsung Blockchain Wallet users in the US and Canada.
Users can now buy and sell crypto, view their Gemini account balances, by connecting their Samsung Blockchain wallet to Gemini.
They are also allowed to transfer their crypto into cold storage with Gemini Custody for a high level of security.
Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss said: “Crypto is not just a technology, it is a movement. We are proud to be working with Samsung Blockchain to bring crypto’s promise of greater choice, independence, and opportunity to more individuals around the world.”
Gemini app allows users to get updates on market trends
The Gemini app also allows users to get updates on market trends, build their crypto portfolio and execute their own trading strategy with easy-to-use tools.
A user can create an account on the app within three minutes and set price alerts, to act fast on price movements.
The app can be programmed to schedule recurring buys on Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC20, Tron and other cryptocurrencies to invest over time.
As a convenient and secure crypto-wallet, Samsung Blockchain Wallet, can handle crypto transactions on-the-go, said the company.
It allows users to self-custody their crypto directly on their Samsung Galaxy phone supporting the blockchain. It is secured Knox and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), keeping authentication data locked away.
Recently, Samsung Electronics America, in partnership with fintech company SoFi and Mastercard, has rolled out a new mobile-first money management offering Samsung Money by SoFi.
The new Samsung Money by SoFi includes a cash management account and accompanying Mastercard debit card along with exclusive benefits to Samsung Pay.
