The GAM Star Barclays Dynamic Multi-Index Allocation fund is a Ucits IV vehicle will actively allocate to the indices according to changing market situations.
The fund will be actively managed across Barclays Capital’s 4,000 investable indices, offering investors access to multi-strategy, multi-asset investments.
Both the companies said that investing in quantitative indices has become a more mainstream strategy over recent years.
Barclays Capital managing director of equity and funds structured markets Antti Suhonen said that clients will now have the opportunity to invest in the widely recognised liquid and transparent Barclays Capital quantitative indices while benefiting from the investment management expertise of the Gam multi-manager team.
