Upon completion of the transition, Barker Poland’s corporate advice staff will move to Foster Denovo’s London office and operate under its workplace advice brand Secondsight, the asset manager said.

Foster Denovo chief executive Roger Brosch said the acquisition of Barker Poland’s corporate division is part of the focus of bringing high quality clients, advisers and support staff to London office.

"It is also an excellent fit with our existing employee benefits division, operating under the Secondsight brand, and I look forward to it becoming an integral part of our business," Brosch added.

Barker Poland chairman Patrick Barker said the transfer would provide long term security for the firm’s staff and offer clients enhanced services with Foster Denevo’s scale and specialist knowledge.

"The transfer of the corporate division will allow Barker Poland to concentrate on, and further develop, our asset management business operated through Barker Poland Asset Management," Barker said.
