The services are available for free of cost to existing and new customers through smartphones including iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry, the bank said.

Business Payment Manager is an accounts payable system ideal for small to medium sized businesses, while Mobile Banking enables customers to view account balances, transfer money between accounts or pay bills using their smartphone.

The other smartphone application XPRESS Deposit helps customers to click a photo of a cheque and send the image for deposit to their bank account.

Fortune Bank president and CEO David Straus said the new applications helps small business and services to deposit their cheque and carry transaction services, anywhere and anytime and also eliminate the need to visit the bank.

As of 30 September 2012, the bank had $135m in total assets, with $118m in total deposits and offers a number of financial services to smaller businesses, professionals, and executives located in Puget Sound region.
