Gain said that Gain GTX ECN is designed for institutional traders such as banks, hedge funds, asset managers, CTA’s and high frequency trading companies.

Gain GTX provides a fully anonymous trading environment with algorithmic trading capabilities, order management and routing tools and access to foreign exchange liquidity through a network of prime broker relationships.

Aside from the ECN, Gain GTX also offers an aggregation service of either disclosed or anonymous liquidity via its customizable prioritization features within the software.

Gain GTX chief operating officer Vincent Sangiovanni said that with the second largest hedge fund industry in Asia, the company believe that there’s a great opportunity for Gain GTX in Singapore, and intend to use the office as a regional hub for its business.

Henry Pek will lead the sales effort for Gain GTX Singapore and will report to Graham Beale, head of Gain GTX international sales.

Pek, a local Singaporean with nearly 20 years of financial services experience, has served in various sales and business development roles in companies such as CMC Markets, Jardine Fleming Futures and Standard Chartered Futures.
