Global wealth management platform FNZ, and UK-based full-service digital bank Virgin Money, have partnered to roll out a new digital investment solution for UK retail investors.
Virgin Money Investments, a joint venture between Virgin Money UK and Abrdn, has developed the new digital investment solution and mobile app.
FNZ has selected Virgin Money as its partner based on its technology, capability in delivering direct-to-consumer (D2C) propositions, experience in complex platform implementations, among others.
The new investment service will provide an enhanced digital experience to Virgin Money customers with new features and capabilities, said FNZ.
FNZ UK, and Middle East and Africa CEO Alastair Conway said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Virgin Money to deliver this exciting digital investment platform.
“We have a vision of opening up wealth by providing wealth management platforms that make investing more transparent, accessible and personalized for everyone.”
The wealth management firm aims to provide investors with advanced tools and technology, to help them grow their wealth, regardless of their position on the wealth spectrum.
The new investment solution combines advanced technology, infrastructure, and investment operations into a single D2C platform.
The D2C platform is created to provide both first time and experienced investors with an option to select directly from three investment funds within an ISA or GIA.
In addition to a smooth front-end digital experience, it also offers full investment capabilities covering back-end operations, investor administration and contact centre solutions.
The solution is said to enable global financial institutions to rapidly deliver personalised services and advanced wealth products that curated for their clients’ needs.
Virgin Money would benefit from the partnership to further enhance and expand its future proposition, including the upcoming addition of a pension product.
Virgin Money Investments chief executive officer Jonathan Byrne said: “Through our partnership with FNZ, we’ve designed our new investment service to be accessible and straightforward for everyone – whether someone is an experienced investor or investing for the first time.
“It’s important that consumers feel confident enough to make the most of their money, particularly during these challenging times.”
