According to FIS, BancPac is easy to use and has the ability to integrate seamlessly with ancillary products, which will allow the bank to operate more efficiently by eliminating redundant tasks.
By operating the system in an outsourced environment, the Bank of Harlan will no longer need to purchase expensive hardware.
The Bank of Harlan is also deploying FIS’ TellerElite, ImageCentre, Vision COLD storage, Oncall telephone banking, OLB Internet banking, bill payment, web design and hosting and communications.
The Bank of Harlan president and CEO Steve Tolliver said the BancPac system was able to offer the bank substantially more features and better support than old system, while being easier to use, and costing less to operate.
"The system’s extensive integration and Windows-based architecture will allow us to reduce both ancillary vendor and hardware costs," Tolliver said.
