Diluted earnings per share were 14 cents for the second quarter of fiscal year 2008, compared to 13 cents for the second quarter of fiscal year 2007.
For the six-month period of fiscal year 2008, net income was $436 million, compared to $401 million for the six-month period of fiscal year 2007. Diluted earnings per share were 24 cents on 1.80 million average shares for the six-month period of fiscal year 2008, compared to 24 cents on 1.67 million shares for the six-month period of fiscal year 2007.
