The new service will provide customers with options to transact with a live, remote teller through video conference at the ATM at non-traditional times of the day. It also allows them to experience faster in-branch banking access, thus improving customer relationship with the bank.

Both walk-up and drive-thru ATMs with video teller services will be introduced by the bank in collaboration with NCR Corporation and uGenius Technology. Using uGenius’ video banking technology, the NCR APTRA Interactive Teller will be deployed in selected branches.

APTRA Interactive Teller features include intelligent deposit, bill pay and new account and loan initiation, which offers financial institutions to access to teller services during non-traditional banking hours, build new small-footprint branches, and provide full teller services in areas not served by branches, claims Dollar Bank.

Dollar Bank has assets of more than $6bn, operates more than 65 branches and loan centers throughout the Pittsburgh and Cleveland metropolitan areas in US.
