The card, which is available through all of its 1,300 banking center locations, can be used where Debit MasterCard is accepted, the bank said.
Fifth Third’s Consumer Bank executive vice president and head Steven Alonso said, "Access 360° may be used as a budgeting tool or way to segment spending, to make secure online purchases, or as an alternative to cash for those without a traditional bank account."
The bank charges a monthly service fee of $7, with an option to reduce it by $4 for Fifth Third checking customers or customers who deposit $500 or more on their Access 360° card each month.
Customers can load their card free of cost, by depositing at the banking center, direct deposit of paychecks or government benefits, or fund transfers from a checking or savings account.
