As per terms of the deal, its money transfer, money order and consumer bill payment services will be available at more than 900 EZCORP managed stores in the US.
Money transfer services will also be available at over 300 EZCORP-operated store locations in Mexico and Canada.
Western Union senior vice president and general manager Victoria Lopez-Negrete said, "Our relationship with EZCORP will now enable consumers to send and receive money transfers, purchase money orders and make bill payments – all in one convenient location."
As an instant cash solutions provider, EZCORP manages over 900 locations under various brand names, such as EZPAWN, Value Pawn & Jewelry and EZMONEY, and manages 230 Empeño Fácil or Empeñe Su Oro stores in Mexico.
Western Union together with its Vigo, Orlandi Valuta, Pago Facil and Western Union Business Solutions branded payment services, the company enables consumers and businesses to send and receive money globally.
