Based in Evercore’s office in the Bay Area, he will concentrate on advising companies in the software sector, as well as in the broader technology industry.

Prior to accepting the current role, Kamran was serving as a managing director and co-head of global software investment banking at BofA Merrill Lynch.

Having worked with BofA Merrill Lynch, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers, Kamran advised Teradata on its purchase of Aprimo, Websense’s sale to Vista Equity Partners, Blackbaud’s acquisition of Convio, among others.
