Under the terms of the agreement, Phoenix Managed Networks will deliver a managed wireless solution to thousands of dial-up ATMs over Phoenix Managed Networks’ PCI-certified and encrypted network.
EDC ATMs will have access to the Phoenix Network via CDMA and GSM wireless connections throughout the US.
EDC chief technology officer Ron Moore said selecting Phoenix Managed Networks will allow EDC to continue to deliver great service to its customers while reducing infrastructure cost and taking advantage of new products to support its diverse customer base.
"Phoenix’s commitment to maintaining that reputation was obvious in the level of client support we received throughout the migration of our ATMs to PayConnect. We look forward to a solid partnership with a quality service provider," Moore said.
