Adoption of the new technology will enable the customers to perform fast, simple, convenient, highly secure payment transactions through a wireless customer device and a biometric reader.

Natural Security CEO Cedric Hozanne said that a user can be quickly and reliably authenticated when making purchases in-store, online shopping or home banking, withdrawing money on an ATM and access to premises or a PC.

"Biometrics for banks can increase and simplify security during online transactions or in automated transactions," Hazanne added.

Offering secure and reliable transaction, the authentication requires a user to simply place their finger on a reader to complete a transaction.

The natural security standard also secures a user’s biometric data, thus eliminates the need to maintain a centralized database.

Established in 2008, Natural Security is headquartered in France and is a member of the Biometrics Alliance Initiative, Naccu and the National Retail Federation (NRF).
