Working within the framework of a new Central Self-Service System developed and managed by Sparkasse Leipzig’s IT outsourcing partner, Siemens Business Services, Diebold will upgrade 143 ATMs to Agilis, an open, cross-vendor software platform developed by Diebold that allows multiple vendors’ terminals and their respective technologies to co-exist.
The US telling machine firm will also install 42 Opteva ATMs as well as configure 209 Diebold statement printers so that they are compatible with the bank’s new central self-service architecture.
The contract is Diebold’s second in Germany in recent months and follows a major order from Sparkasse Dresden for 200 Opteva ATMs.
