Total income amounted to almost E2 billion in the second quarter of 2007, up 17.2% compared to the second quarter of 2006. Total income of the first half of 2007 reached E3.7 billion, up E289 million.
Gross operating income amounted to E1 billion in the second quarter of 2007, up 22.4% compared to the second quarter of 2006. Underlying pro forma gross operating income was E902 million, a 14.2% positive variation in one year.
Return on equity (annualized) in the second quarter of 2007 reached 22.1%, up from 20.5% in the same quarter of the previous year. It stood at 21.5% in the first half of 2007, compared to 24.3% in the first half of 2006.
