Mr Aksamija replaces Nikola Carevic, who has managed the representative office since 1997. He will continue to focus on representing Deutsche Bank’s investment and transaction banking as well as private wealth management in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He joined Deutsche Bank from Societe Generale Splitska Bank where he was the head of large and international corporate and financial institutions and he was also in charge of the development of regional corporate centers. As head of the representative office in Zagreb, he will report to Peter Tils, CEO of Central and Eastern Europe region.
Mr Tils said: With his comprehensive experience in investment banking, Alen Aksamija will ensure continuity and will further expand our corporate and institutional business in the region.
