The new tool, Fundamental Index Views, will take a close look at up to 20 of the world’s major equity, bond, credit and commodities indices, according to Deutsche Bank.

Deutsche Bank analysts evaluate the prospects for the indices involved and give them a positive, neutral or negative rating.

According to Deutsche Bank, these analyses are constantly updated to reflect any changes in the evaluation of an index.

Deutsche Bank head of German equity strategy Lars Slomka said investment managers and other investors are increasingly shifting to invest in indices, for instance via exchange traded funds, which have already gained wide recognition on the capital market.

"Our Fundamental Index Views cover a wide range of asset classes and gives investors a useful tool for any investment decision," Slomka said.
