CUNA Strategic Services (CSS), a subsidiary organization of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), has entered into an agreement with Panini, a provider of distributed check capture.

Under this new agreement, Panini’s Vision X family of check scanners and the newly released Panini I:Deal are now available to credit unions. The Panini scanners will allow credit unions to focus on providing remote deposit capture (RDC) to their business members and the ability to implement a scalable branch image capture (BIC) solution with configurability for each unique operating environment in both applications.

Doug Roberts, president of Panini North America, said: “CSS offers strategic relationships that provide the best overall value for quality products and services used by credit unions. This alliance model is given significant attention by credit unions and solution providers to this market, so we are thrilled with the new agreement.”

Wes Millar, senior vice president of CUNA Strategic Services, said: “Credit unions are beginning to show a strong interest in RDC, so this new strategic alliance relationship comes at a great time for credit unions. Panini’s check scanners will allow credit unions and their business members to take full advantage of the operational efficiencies and cost savings associated with this deposit application.”
